Established for five generations in Gevrey-Chambertin, the Duroché estate covers 8.5 hectares in the Burgundy, Gevrey-Chambertin, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru and grand cru appellations. The work in the vineyard is respectful (soil work, grassing) as in the cellar. A discreet winemaker, Pierre Duroché signs cuvées that affirm a style, his style.
Complex, with notes of liquorice and black cherry, this cuvée requires a little ventilation before tasting. Once opened, it promises an almost endless final.
