Gresigny
Burghound 92
This cuvée was created in the early 2010s. Indeed, Aubert de Villaine and his nephew Pierre de Benoist began to exploit the ancestral vines of this premier cru. It has an ideal exposure to the ripening of the grapes. Thus, the vines are located mid-hill on marl-limestone soils and are cared for with biodynamic principles. Unsurprisingly, the harvest is manual, the delicate pressing is done in whole bunches. The wine is then aged naturally. The breeding is done in barrel and in lightning. This premier cru seduces with its complexity, finesse and gourmet notes of fresh fruit and stone fruit. Complexity also reigns in the mouth: at the same time tense, mineral and fresh, it reveals a true sensuality and a superb length.
